Hickory Chair Will Relocate To A New Showroom In 2023 

For the October 2023 fall High Point Market, Hickory Chair will open a new showroom in the Hamilton-Wrenn neighborhood.

The new lease is for seven years, and Hickory Chair will be on the top floor of the new, 28,000-square-foot showroom at 200 N., according to company representatives. Hamilton in the former Stanly Furniture location.

“Coming out of the pandemic, we all have our eyes on the future,” said Alex Shuford III, Rock House Farm’s president and CEO, is Hickory Chair. “We believe that now is the ideal time to showcase the wide range of products offered by our company in a clean, contemporary setting.

“Hickory Chair is proud to return to the Hamilton-Wrenn design district and looks forward to once more becoming an anchor to the design district,” Shuford added. “It will be more convenient for our devoted customers to shop for their clients and find inspiration in this area thanks to the location of our new, stunning showroom.”

Hickory Chair will present a curated display at its current showroom, which is located on the third floor of the Historic Market Square building, for the spring 2023 market.

“There is nothing like a showroom move to excite a company’s creative team,” Shuford said. “We hope that the 200 N. was the result of our tireless search with our friends at IMC for the ideal location. For many years to come, the Hamilton building will be a must-see residence.”
