Cort, an international provider of furniture rental and transition services, hired The Cort Events team has appointed Phil DeSarno to the newly created position of vice president of sales, marketing, and merchandising.
“Cort Events will continue to innovate our business and expand our strategic and operational capabilities,” said Senior group vice president Damon Ross. “Our organization and the service we offer to our clients have advanced significantly with the addition of Phil to our team.”
DeSarno previously worked for Enterprise Holding Inc. as an assistant vice president of a rental manufacturer business. and has more than 27 years of experience in strategic sales.
DeSarno’s new position entails strengthening divisional ties and aligning with Cort’s top clients in order to promote business growth.
As a division of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, Cort offers a range of services for people in transition, including renting out furniture for the home and office, furnishing events, assisting with travel arrangements, finding apartments, and more. There are more than 100 locations for the business in the country., operations in the United Kingdom and partners in more than 80 nations.
