NEWARK, N.J. – The company has redesigned its Shifman Vintage collection of mattresses in response to the demands of its retail partners for a wider merchandising range. The upcoming High Point Market will feature the new product prominently.
In addition to giving retail partners a link between Shifman’s Masters and Quilted collections, the remastered Shifman Vintage collections, which include an expanded line and the entirely new Modern Shifman Vintage line, also add flexibility and options for a step-up story that customers can understand.
“Actively listening to our retail partners and continually looking for ways to maximize margins and profits for them are key ways we put the Shifman Difference into action,” said Shifman’s president, Bill Hammer. “It is simpler for our retail partners to achieve higher average unit selling prices when products are clearly defined and have tangible benefits for the customer.”
Shifman Vintage now comes in four models with a variety of premium feels and either an eight-way hand-tied boxspring for support and durability, or a genuine working boxspring. In order to work with an adjustable base and a genuine working boxspring, the Modern Shifman Vintage mattress has an individually wrapped coil system.
A Shifman mattress is made by hand in the United States. and features cotton for naturally cooler sleep and Two-sided construction, a Shifman trademark, for superiority, comfort, and toughness. Every collection is created using Shifman’s patented Sanotuft technique, which results in a buttonless tuft that is hand-stitched from top to bottom, locking the upholstery layers and the innerspring securely in place and extending the comfort life of your mattress.
The Canadian spruce and recycled steel used to create Shifman’s luxury and premium boxsprings are harvested sustainably. The eight-way hand-tied boxsprings have furniture grade upholstery coils, imported Italian twine, corner guards made of 18K gold-plated metal, Belgian damask covers, and padding made entirely of natural cotton.
At 108 E, Shifman’s flagship premium lines and the improved merchandising story of Shifman Vintage will be on display. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between floors 2 and 3 when the High Point Market is in session.
